Field Trip

On the April 17th, we had a field trip to the Eye on Malaysia & KL Bird Park. It was an awesome trip for the kids and of course for the teachers & parents too. The ride on the Eye on Malaysia was a little scary and exciting at the same time especially for my student, Najwa. She was afraid at first but after much persuassion, she finally agreed to follow me up but it only took her a while to push her fears away. She was singing and smiling for the camera!!! Just look at the photos and you'll know what I mean :)

After the Eye on Malaysia we headed straight to our next destination, that is the KL Bird Park. Mind you, it was my first trip going to the bird park ok? LOL. We had our yummy lunch before entering the park. The weather was nice, it wasn't too hot. We managed to catch the Bird Show on time and the kids were amazed with what the birds are capable of doing, especially solving the maths questions and of course all the other amazing stunts the parrots & the eagles did. We strolled along the park with a ranger and he was really good at explaining to the teachers & parents about the species and habitats of the birds. Well, the children weren't listening much as they were eager to see the birdies only!!! You can't blame them rite?

Besides looking, they also got to feed the parrots and ostriches too. Every kids were so great at feeding the birds, I wonder if any got chocked? I hope not. Haha. I'm sure those birds enjoyed being fed too. Oh yeah, how can I forget this... the kids got to touch the chicks and the chicks were so stinkin' cute!!! I love them too :) To sum it all up, it was a great & another experiential trip for the kids as they're learning birds this & the following week. It's gonna be fun to talk all about it again in the class! Enjoy the pictures...

Love this pic, it's so funny. As if the ostrich said 'Woi, my face la!! Feed properly la!!!' LOL :P

Am glad that najwa went up the Eye. She strongly voiced out her fear about the ferris wheel. Thank you for helping her overcoming the fear of heights!
