Mission Trip to Abacco Estate

On the November 15, we went into the Abacco Estate for a local mission trip. We were asked to have activities ie: games & simple craft with the children & also to paint their community hall. It was a 200 sq ft hall and it is used to educate children by giving them tuition. Sis Eva is the person in-charge of educating and helping the children at the community. It is a small community but it is a lively one. We enjoyed playing and getting to know these children that God had created. They were warm and greeted us with beautiful songs in English & Tamil. Oh yeah, everyone got back a pack of yummy treats & they were so grateful!

Just some facts about this community. Some of the children need to help their parents to rubber-tap to support their needs. When it rains, they will not be able to tap. Only a few got to study at local primary school wherelse the rest couldn't because the parents could not afford the fees. It is pretty sad to know & see but I know there will be some good samaritan out there will be able to lessen their burden. Every time when I looked at these children, I thanked God for what He has done & provided for me :) I'm blessed for sure!!
