Be Yourself Everyday!

This month at Scrap-It-Lah, we are having an altered challenge. I chose to alter an art frame I bought at Daiso not long ago. Yup, that altered frame below is a reminded for myself! To be myself everyday!

So pls check out Scrap-It-Lah and do join us. I am sure you wanna win the yummy October Afternoon RAK. We do accept international submissions & that's a plus!

Scrappy info:
1. Firstly, I painted the dark blue background paper that came with the frame with gesso. To create a subtle look.
2. Then I painted the frame with gesso + crackle paint. Once dried, stamped it with script stamp. Also inked the sides with distress ink.
3. Sprayed the doily with peach delight mist.
4. Next, I arranged the die cuts and once done, I pasted them down.
5. Handmade roll flowers are such pretty addition, no?

Hope you have an awesome Monday!!
Thanks for peeking and do come back tomorrow :)

Xoxo Jessy

Hi Jessy! It has JUST occured to me that I may have offended you completely by mistake & if that is the case I am SO sorry ;-( I remember leaving a comment here {or maybe I am wrong & it was a previous post} where I said something like "Don't you do anything but scrap all day!?" which just means in English that you do it a lot, not that you don't do anything else. But I am worried that you may have misunderstood me & thought I was being rude. Please, please know that I only have the utmost admiration for your work & think you are a great person & would never intentionally do anything to hurt your feelings. REALLY. I am very sad if that is what happened ;-( You can delete this comment because I am just sending it to you like an e mail, as I am on hubby's laptop & my e mail is not connected here, so please accept my apologies & I promise if you ask anyone English speaking what I said was not meant to be rude & they will confirm that. Bib hugs & I will always be your fan :-D

Hey Helen!!

Oh mine, you did not offend me in anyways!! It just happened that in one of my die cuts tin I found those old Making Memories dies & happened to see "Be Yourself". Prob God was speaking to me for that very moment :) So I decided to use them & something I should remind myself of everyday! I created the frame with no intentions of anything, was purely a reminder to myself.

Well, to be honest I sleep, dream & eat scrapbook literally!! Basically I scrap all the time. Lol!! I totally understand when u said that, I was laughing seeing that statement...seriously!! Don't worry bout it!

We're all up to watch the world cup finals now & so anxious to see who will hold the title this time, do hope the orange will win tho... Hehe!

You have an awesome day!! Take care :)
