Scrap-It-Lah "What's In A Name?" Challenge

Whoa! It has been a week I last update my blog! Bad blogger... I know! Since the school holidays started, I was swamped with assignments for design team work and LSS classes.

Today & tomorrow I'll be conducting Kids' Art Camp at my LSS, Papier Love. This time I got to design using one of the cutest collection in the market. "Togetherness" by Cosmo Cricket!! Yaays :)

I enjoy teaching kids because they will never over-think like adults ... hehehe. You know what I mean? I am sure we all do the "self-convo" every now and then when we create. Questions like "What papers?", "Should I...?" or we even get our partner/spouse involved "B, do you think this is nicer or that one?" LOL! For kids, all they need are instructions, they will begin their work - cut, paste, die-cut, stamp.. you name it. They always manage to finish on time in my class, in fact some on the dot! God bless those little souls... LOL!

I love the Dec's SIL challenge and how fast that this is the last challenge of the year 2010. So you seriously gotta try it too! This month over at Scrap-It-Lah, you need to scrap about the meaning of your name and include a childhood photo. Simple & fun at the same time rite? Hope you can join us and share with us the meaning of your beautiful name :) Do visit the blog to see other stunning creations by the DTs and learn something more about ourselves. How cool!

Here's my take:

That's me... the chubby girl next to my Papa! I was a year+ old when this photo was taken & the best part I got to travel with my Papa in the ship for one whole year! He was a ship captain then :) I wish I can remember some of the memories but I was too young. Thank God for photos!

Don't you just adore the Crate Paper: Restoration collection? The colors are so pretty and vintage-y too. Well, if you know me well... you'll know that I love to CUT and LAYER!

Another flavor of this month is the Martha Stewart Vintage Lace border punch!
To yummy to pass...

Hope you will have a beautiful day and thanks for dropping by again! I love reading YOUR comments and will visit YOU soon!

Xoxo Jessy

Teaching kids is rewarding but I also find I'm completely exhausted after a class with them. Must be getting old.

So now I know you're a worldtraveler from age one!
