Scrap-It-Lah Jan "Hobby" Challenge

Over at SIL, we are having a very interesting challenge that is to create a layout on your other hobbies (besides scrapbooking of course) and you have to include some kind of element of your hobby in the layout. Here is my take...

My other hobby is ... I love listening to Music!

Music has played a BIG role in our family as my parents love listening to music. Guess I was addicted to it too! I love singing too. Whenever I scrap, I need my "music dose" or else I can't function properly. Lol! Currently, I love listening to Lady Antebellum's songs. These days, country music is really happening. LOL!

I love combining different fonts to achieve the funky-looking wording *wink*

Somehow I love playing with twine these days!!

At first I was a little stumped on what photo should I use for my layout. While I was thinking, saw a bunch of CDs on my scrapping table and that struck my mind to snap them and it's perfect on the layout :)

To create a subtle look to my background music score paper, I used gesso. Also created dimension to the kraft paper by embossing it.

This pretty handmade flower fitted perfectly on my layout & was created by my talented scrapper-friend, Amelia. She is good with handmade paper flowers and she was kind enough to create a whole bunch for me. Thanks dear!

Today is the second day for me at school and it was very tiring. Boss decided to open nursery next door and I had fun bathing the kids. LOL! It was fun to see my existing and new students! They did awesome and I adore each of them. Looking forward to meet them tomorrow :)

Thanks for dropping by the blog each time I post and leaving me awesome comments!! Will visit yours soon :)
Xoxo Jessy
