Believe Love

Since young, my life is always filled with LOVE. Love from my parents, friends, family, from my hubby, Mr.Handsome and most importantly from my ultimate saviour, Jesus. I want to remember this love that they have poured into my life and hence I got an idea to create a home decor to put in my craftroom. To always believe in LOVE!

Let me show you a very simple tutorial how I created this piece of home decor. You will need to prepare all the followings...

Firstly you need to distress the edges by using the super Zutter Distrezz-It-All. Psstt....Mr.Handsome had fun with it too. Lol. It is so cool!

Here I zuttered the 6"x6"chipboard cover, 7"x7"corrugated board (trimmed to 4.5"x4.5") and also the Butterfly Harmony paper (trimmed to 6"x6") that you can get in the 8x8 Spring in Bloom paper pad.

Once I'm done with the corrugated board, I inked the edges and some at the centre.

Next, you'll need to cut the roses on the Peachy Dream paper in the Spring Bloom collection.

Using the balance of the Peachy Dream paper, I take the 3 flowers die and die-cut them on my Big Shot.

I wanted to give an orange color to my flower and here I used the Smooch Spritz - Tea Party.

So that is pretty much for the preparations and now you are ready to paste.

Photobucket
Firstly, I pasted the Butterfly Harmony paper to the chipboard cover.

Then, I pasted the corrugated board and also the fussy-cut roses.

Here is the finished project. As you can see I have added the words 'Believe Love"(Memory Mosaics: Alpha paper) and also pasted strips of punched papers around the corrugated board. Also added the carnation flower in the centre of the rose. As usual, hope you enjoy today's simple tutorial on home decor using Donna Salazar's gorgeous products!

This is adorable, Jessy! Just the type of cutie-wootie project that I adore! Love the texture and combination of goodies you used here. The chipboard cover mixed with the corrugated cardboard and the elegant papers........just fabulous. Really love the fussy cut flowers and butterflies, too, and that little twine butterfly trail is the perfect finishing touch. :)
